Hi has anyone on here used the sports shop for gait analysis at the Maidstone Kent garden centre, the centre is called Notcutts.

My son and I intend to go there to be advised about running shoes.

If you mean Sweatshop at Newnham Court (Notcutts is just one of the stores there), then yes, I have. I had very good service there and revisit each time I'm in the UK.

Prior to using this shop I had constant niggling injuries to calf and Achilles. Went to sweatshop in Maidstone and had gait analysis and purchased some new trainers and special insoles. Quite expensive but excellent service and 6 weeks on no sign of injury, definitely recommend dan also gave me some great tips on warm ups and stretching.

I'm looking forward to going now, I have a bunion on my left foot and haven't been able to run for a while, hope to get some good advice.

I went there when I was about to start the program as I have dodgy ankle and wanted to make sure it would be supported. They were fantastic and took and lot of time to find the right shoes and moulded insoles for me. As an overweight middle aged non runner I was nervous about going to a runners shop but they couldn't have been more supportive. Highly recommend them.

I got my running shoes from there and had the gait analysis, they were really good, very patient and you can return your shoes up to 30 days after buying them if they aren't comfortable. I'd recommend going late in the day as apparently that is the best time to measure your feet and it's quieter. Not cheap but they did have some shoes on sale if you're not too bothered about choice.
