Took dog to park to check it out . Got chatting to a few taking part , nice bunch of people encouraging me to take part oneweekend . Once I've done a couple Of practice runs round , I'm defiantly doing it proper on my next weekend off .looks good fun .ive lived near this park for thirty odd years & never seen a park run . Marshall told me it's a bit challenging because there's a few hills , so I got straight in there & told her I had completed it yesterday in 36 mins , ooh I come away feeling so proud lol .

They are tempting aren't they? I went to our parkrun to look last week. It is quite a steep run. Have to say put me off a bit. I'll have to do a dummy run to see how I cope with it.

Why aren't more of us doing Park Runs? Or are people not declaring membership? I was the only C25K member out of over 200 runners at our local Park Run yesterday. It would be great when I graduate to wear the T-shirt and meet up with other members. It can be a bit intimidating seeing all the "Harriers' , Striders', 'Triathlon clubs' and AC t-shirts on your fellow runners. Let's be proud!

I just registered with parkrun. Hoping to do my first one this week as I have a very rare Saturday off. Have my club down as c25k and will wear my graduate tshirt with pride.

Quite excited to be honest. Just really wish it was something I could do regularly.

I've registered , I get every other sat. Off so will be entering sometime soon , never saw bit where you can name a club wish I had put c25k . All the best for your park run

You can go back and edit your profile Rockette. I didn' t notice that bit either when I registered and ran the first one clubless! But I was a proud member of Couch25K for the second one.
