Finally gone and done it! Completed week 9 run 3, after a nagging leg on week 7 i thought i would never finish the programme, but here i am. Went out on a very cold and frosty morning determined to finish and everything went right, had the route planned out, did some warm up stretches before the run, even finished on an uphill run. To say i am pleased is an understatement.

If i had one piece of advice to anyone thinking of doing this - stop thinking and just DO IT, when i first started on the 60 second run/60 sec walk of week 1, i can honestly say that i thought i would NEVER complete this. I was so out of breath and very conscious of all the other joggers and dog walkers along the route, but at the end of the first week i could feel myself slightly fitter and more confident in my running style - its still not perfect and probably never will be, but week by week i had more energy and was recovering more quickly, sure i had bad runs, but i am over the moon to have done this. I have even got my hubby involved, he did his first run of Wednesday but typical hubby, his idea of a jog is running but we have already made a date for another run next week. So get out there and jog your way to fitness, and the best thing about it? Apart from some decent trainers and warm clothing its FREE.

Thanks to all you developed this podcast, without Laura and her encouragement I would never have done this. x

Great stuff Bee!!!!! It's brilliant isn't it. To think it's only 9 weeks since your first tentative steps and now you're running 30 minutes. Wooohooo. Well done. Have you applied for your Graduate (virtual) badge?
