Week 8 run 2

completed despite the rain. My right foot was complaining so I tried a slightly different position on landing, helped a bit, but, I limped home. Arnica after my hot shower.

nice one! I just did this run too - only 4 left!

My knee has been twinging and as I am more confortable with running now I have been trying to be aware of my posture, not hunching forward, keeping my shoulders back and down, engaging core muscles.. i have found that although it takes some concentration it really helps with pains especially my knee.. may be worth considering for your foot?

Thanks for the tip. You're probably right about the posture as I was running with my head down against the rain, not my usual technique, I like to look up at the mountains normally

Me too! Tough though. I struggle from about 15 mins, but I push myself on. Knees feel a bit creaky later. Maybe it's my age. Yes, I'm starting to think about posture too. I think I hold my lower leg too stiff. Let's all finish together!
