I managed 25mins at end of week 6, then r1 w7 could only do 20,r2-25with friends support and thought I had cracked it , but back out today and struggled to get to 22minutes- I feel week 7 may last more than the usual three runs-my nemesis is this stupid 25minutes which I have done twice but no more!!!!

Struggling with week 7
hi there. i did W7 R2 myself today and really struggled. There seems to be a lot of people who struggle with this week from the posts. My hip was playing up and my calf muscle was sore. I found that i was jogging very slowly (I do the same route and also have MapMyRun in the background and this was my slowest ever). However i did it - just. i think its just a matter of powering through the hump. As long as you are not in pain of course. But when Laura said try and run faster for the last minute I'm afraid I just ignored her.....
Keep going...your next run may be your best ever - just think how you will feel then
I've struggled with wk7 myself, I just can't seem to run without having a 2 min walk in the middle. The other night however I'm sorry to say i ditched Laura and just went with my own music but the result was much better. I managed 29 mins (still with a 2 min walk in the middle) but it did feel like I had actually achieved something. Ditching Laura might not work for you but it may be worth a go just for a couple of runs. : ))
Thanks all . Been running to my own music this week and has helped but already am so slow , don't think I could slow down anymore!!.so I'll try and try until I get there and can move on.
Im on week 7 to have completed 2 runs but soooo hard a physical and mental battle but remember week 1 and how far we have all come.
