Did you manage Week 5 Run 3 and Week 6 Run 3? Did you complete those before moving on?

If you managed those without stopping then make sure you're giving yourself enough rest and keeping your pace nice and slow.

Yes I did all the way up to week 7 before xmas then had 4 weeks off for Christmas due to illness and couldn't get childcare. So started back week 6 in the new year did all 3 then stuck on week 7.Although the strong winds and rain didn't help today.

Yes - the weather today won't have helped. Have another go at it - and if you really feel you can't do it, then maybe drop back a week or 2 again - maybe you just need a bit more time to get back into it?

Hi , Firstly , Well done on getting this far ! Might seem a daft question but what's making you stop do you think ? Is it your breathing or is anything hurting ? Xxx

My breathing is ok, no hurting although my legs feel dead and heavy!

It's probably in your head. Take an extra rest day so you're extra ready to go. Start off way slower than normal. Sometimes we need to trick our eyes or ears because we know when we usually stop for a walk. Try a new route maybe, something scenic to distract you. You can also try running to your own tunes or a podcast. You'll get it. You have the fitness.

Thanks it might be in my head. Think I might try a different route as my 5 min warm up is up a very steep hill so wonder whether I am a bit worn out before I start!

I have a special downhill only route that I use when I need a mental pep-up. You need routes for all occasions.

You will do it! Just take care, go steady and you'll get there. This is not easy so don't worry about it. A new route is a good idea. High winds are tricky to run in so I don't wonder that you struggled

I hope your next session goes better than the last. Good luck 😊

Perhaps you need to build up a little bit more after 4 weeks off? I agree with some of the tips. Try a new route, make sure you're going very very slowly, take a couple of rest days between runs. If you feel you need to stop perhaps slow down even if you're just jogging on the stop and it might get you through. Be kind to yourself, you've done so well and this just sounds like a little blip. :)

Thanks. I am going to try a new route. Never run before so it's all new to me, and not been to bad up till now so think it's my 1st blip!
