I keep seeing posts about people playing their own music. It would appear it is possible to still have Laura spurring you on but have your own playlist playing? Am I wrong? I am about to do W6R2 and keep thinking about bland music for 25 mins on run 3 on Sunday (all being well) but I would be scared not to have Laura!
Can any of the tech type people explain how to do this?

There is an app on the apple store that will let you play your own music, it was announced a week or so ago. The android app is 'coming soon' so if you're on android you'll need to suffer Julie for a while longer
Yes it is possible, I asked the same question a few days ago. You need to go to the App Store and search for nhs c25k. It downloads the living well app which allows you to have your own playlist and still have Laura, Happy days!
Hi there. Do you know the exact name of the ap as I cannot find it. Or could you paste a link please? I like Laura too and even liked some of the tracks. The graduate music us even blander so would now Ike to use my own music.
I'm very far from techy Suelyn but the Couch to 5K app I use has five little boxes at the bottom of the home page, on of which has the musical note itune symbol. When I click on this, and then on Edit the itunes Genius playlists I have created came up. I clicked on the ones I wanted and if I then want to add another track I click on the plus sign and up come my playlists again. You then start a playlist playing before you start Laura off and the music will get quieter every time she speaks. I hope this helps. I guess you need an iphone and some Genius playlists for it to work, buy maybe other people can tell you a different way to do it (I am doing my first 5K run tonight so my personal playlist will be based around Rod Stewart's 'Tonight's the Night' !)
I think I must be the only person on here that found Laura really annoying plus the rubbish music and stopped using the official app after week four and moved on to one of the others.
I don't seem to have a button on bottom of the app. Looked on iTunes Store for another one but it have me the change for life branding - still Laura podcasts but still no music. I think I may be missing something - like a brain ha ha
I think mine is the Radianttap which I must have downloaded by accident thinking it was the official NHS one. I had to pay something like £2.99 to get the whole programme but I think it's worth it. I now realise I don't know who this Laura is! I have an American woman telling me what to do but I can change it to a male voice as the mood takes me
