Week 6 Run 1 - better than I had feared.

After reading a lot of posts about week 6, I was mentally prepared for this to be tough. It certainly wasn't easy, but I managed it OK ( at my usual slow pace). Just one more run with walking breaks and then it will be long runs all the way (eek!).

Me too. Did exactly the same run today and was so pleased with myself as wasn't expecting much. No the hard work really starts-those long runs although hard are enjoyable.

I really struggled with this run which seems mad as I managed the 20 mins non stop at the weekend. Having to leave 2 days between runs this week and wonder whether this is having any impact; I usually try to run every other day. Oh well, bound to have difficult days I suppose. Good luck everybody -we're over half way through the programme now!
