I did w5r1 this afternoon and it felt good. My friend came too and we ran (and walked) round a local nature reserve. It was lovely. She's a 10k runner so used that as a warm up then ran more afterwards but I was so distracted chatting (more her than me!) that the run went in quite easily. Looking forward to w5r2 now.

Great idea - glad it went well! Doing mine this week sometime, don't think I'm quite ready for running with someone else however!

I did the same with W5R1 yesterday and found it much easier too! Although I have to say I was not able to handle a conversation as much as my boyfriend. He isn't even a runner but he's pretty fit. It was nice having him encouraging me when I told him how tired I was getting!
