Two months ago was my last post and I was having trouble completing the programme. Since then, I have done a few week 9 runs but never managed the 5k. To keep up with the fitness, and because I was a bit fed up of the music on the podcast (and too busy to get proper music in), I joined a military fitness camp for 3 weeks.
After that, I left for holidays and packed my trainers "just in case". Despite the amazing weather, I managed a few early morning jogs by the beach. Having returned home I realised I graduated! I did 5km in 30 minutes listening to the local radio on a Portuguese seaside town.
Since starting the C25K early April, I have stopped smoking, lost 4kg and approximately 20 cm between tummy and hips. All this without really changing my food habits, just noticing than when you feel healthy you eat healthier.
I'm now going for a jog. Thank you all for the support and for sharing your ups and downs. It really helped me reaching this far!
