Thanks for bearing with us with these site upgrades. We promise the intention is to make this site better than ever before, but there will be some bumps along the way.
About the graduate badges, we'll try to fix it as soon as possible.
If you have questions, feel free to comment below.
Thanks for reminding me I'll have to try it on my Kindle.........Just tried it and it looks pretty good on there.
My profile picture is rather large and shows as fuzzy, and the about me section could be formatted so that there are more words per line to take up less space. Otherwise seems O.K.
Can you make it so the remember me option works? I have to keep logging in ! Also, it used to be good seeing the titles if lots if blogs in the home page, and now I can only see about 4. It's really not very intuitive anymore.
Lora - do you know if this is the final version in terms of layout and font size or can we feedback in at this stage?..
.. assuming the site niggles such as profile errors & dropped pages are just temporary while the servers refresh?
Initial thought is I don't like, but human nature is not to like change, I bet we love it in a week when we get used to navigation. Hopefully the site will be more stable.
How do you only view graduate blogs?
Good questions from you all. This is absolutely NOT the final look of the site so please know we will be working to improve things every step of the way.
We know no one likes change, much how it is with any website that alters itself, but we promise we wouldn't do this if it wasn't for the intention of simply making things better.
We hope you'll stick with us and hope you'll share what I'm telling you with others who appear to have frustrations.
After sleeping on this I think it will be fine once all the niggles are sorted out. Yes, we could have had some warning, that would have been nice and it does seem to have been launched with more problems than it should have been, but I think once we get used to it, it'll be fine and we will all adjust. I think it will still be the site we know and love, just with more functionality. It looks like they are trying to make it more like a social network tool, by adding the newsfeed for instance. I really like that aspect as it will make it much easier to see recent activity from or virtual buddies. I hope it is optimised for viewing on mobile devices as that is how I access the site most often.
At the moment no links from the newsfeed work, so that new feature is pretty much useless until you fix that! Plus I seem to be signed out any time I try to select from my communities list. New layout seems fine but fix the bugs.
This 74 year old is not happy with the new site yet. It coincided with me getting a new phone and thought it was the phone's fault for not getting the emails. It would have been nice to have been forewarned. I will stick with it and hopefully come to love it like the old one..
email notifications were supposed to be back this week, I understand the need for change to allow more people to access the site, therefore more support, but, well, advance warning would have been nice, thank you though for a great site and a great programme
