Am looking for a tracker to record weight and more importantly length of running....? Any ideas?
To "Fit Bit" or not to "Fit Bit" - that is the... - Couch to 5K
To "Fit Bit" or not to "Fit Bit" - that is the question.....
They're are plenty of apps if you have a smartphone, endomondo, runkeeper etc for distance, myfitnesspal among others for weight and food.
I second Crox on this. Plus, they're all free, so that's a bug bonus! After a bit of a trial on different apps, I personally use RunKeeper and MyFitnessPal which I really like.
Big* (sorry!)
I use MyFitnessPal and Endomondo - if you link the two together, your Endomondo results will automatically upload to MyFitnessPal and you get 'credit' for the calories you burned.
Thanks guys - my prob is that I don't really know how fast I run.... does that matter with these apps? Really I only shuffle, but for me it has been the maintenance that I am most proud of - do you still think I should try one of these?
These apps map your run and give you statistics on your sessions (pace, distance...) so they can help you to progress. Good luck for your future workouts!
I've been using Fitbit Flex for 2 weeks now and I have to say I love it. I've found it motivational and I love the fact that I am able to pull everything together into one simple Dashboard, so I've now got Data from MyFitnessPal, Nike+ and Runtastic Road Bike all in one place.
Fitbit has no GPS so it can only track your runs via the number of steps, which has for me to date been remarkably accurate, it's then intelligent enough to know that the run it recorded you doing for example at 10am is the same run it has just imported from Nike + or another App.
