OH is keen on the Tour de France. Not taking part I hasten to add, watching it on TV. As we were watching them cycling over the mountains in Corsica, the commentator said something about some of the guys struggling with the gradient. 'Why are they struggling?' I asked OH. 'They can't all do hills', he says, 'Some of them only train for doing the flat sprints'. So, if some of the TdF guys, with muscles of steel and legs that go like pistons, are OK with going up the hill sections at their own pace, I'm no longer going to worry when I have to walk up hills.
Not that I will exactly be doing sprints on the flat though!!
