WK 8/2 A run of lows and highs. I found a great book in the library especially for women running and for the first time I did a warm up exercise where you lie on your front and kick your heels up to your derriere for a couple of minutes. Then you rest on your back for a few minutes, knees bent obviously don't drift off and no good if you've just got out of bed! Put on my vest capris out the door all great. No high today but smiled at runners and amazingly nearly all smiled back. Then I was just too hot and my mouth too dry, tried to ignore it and runkeeper informed me I was running at average pace of 7.12 per km/min, so thought that's OK? Anyway five minutes to go and I felt nauseous, only a tiny bit but thought stop walk for a minute then run extra minute. I wasn't disappointed with myself it's not about speed it's about running for 28 mins. It must have done me some good as felt fine and ran for 30 mins in the end. So am I wearing the right stuff? Everything is wicking moisture etc and I slowed down towards the end. I hope it is the humidity it's meant to be 21 degrees today. Maybe it's me I've never been a fan of the heat.

On another note I'm finding I'm losing weight now since I started on WK 7etc and not eating that healthy in fact my appetite's gone!

:)

Yes, I really can't enjoy the run, been putting off morning runs for a while, but it looks like I'm going to have to haul my lazy body out of bed!
