Not really looked at these before and fancied trying them but thought I'd feel a bit stupid doing exercises in the park. Can they be done the same at home? how have other people found them?

Strength & Flexibility podcasts- are they good?
Hi Wheatls, I started doing S&F as well as C25K and find them very helpful. I am fortunate that I can get down to the local park within the 5 minute warm up. Then I walk past a series of trees to do the 'press-up'. (You'd be amazed by the variety of mosses on the bark - very pretty!) I use the children's climbing frame to do pull ups and move round to the seats to do the leg stretches. I have had only one strange look when I was doing the 'hug a tree' move but quite honestly nobody is really bothered about you.
Don't feel stupid. If you go quite early it is fairly quiet in the park. Our park has signs up telling us that exercise is what the parks are there for anyway.
Give it a go and I hope you enjoy it. I would find the walking sections difficult to do at home (unless I walked up and down the stairs!)
I'm afraid I found these mind numbingly boring and whilst I loved Laura on the running podcasts, i got really frustrated every time she said 'and relax, keep walking', which is impossible!
I just found these really slow going, repetitive and not much of a challenge. I did them indoors which may have swayed me?
Started with the strength and flex podcast and it was great to get started but have moved on to C25k although may combine both once C25k completed.
Seem to remember the last bit of the first strength and flex makes you feel very chilled.
Forgot to add that strength and flex can be completed at home except the pull up bit which I replaced with weights.
