Hi folks,
Just wanted to say I'm pretty wary of another new week, cos Week 5 is supposed to be a bit of a pig right? Anyway, I'm always like this on a new week. Anyone else feel the waryness of the unknown???
Hi folks,
Just wanted to say I'm pretty wary of another new week, cos Week 5 is supposed to be a bit of a pig right? Anyway, I'm always like this on a new week. Anyone else feel the waryness of the unknown???
Ooh good luck! I'm starting week 4 this week and I'm quite apprehensive about Week 5. Let us know how it goes.
Perhaps, Don't look ahead at what is next! Why not just put Laura on and wait and see what she says to do? Lol, it an idea (not one I could do)
I know how you feel, I was dreading it, but it is actually fine...I am not a runner (well not a long term runner) but I managed all 3 runs fine. Go for it and believe you can do it...as Laura says the challenge is mental, not physical this week
I felt anxious about it too. Now I'm in week 7. You will be able to do it. You've done all the training you need to make it happen.Take it steady and trust the programme.
THANK YOU to all peeps who replied to my post. Well this morning as the sun shone, I hauled my *ss to my run route along the River Thames in Richmond Surrey and COMPLETED WEEK 5 RUN 1 with no problems whatsoever. Ally-d was right, I just let Laura strut her stuff and she was most impressed with my progress! I actually found Week 4 harder than this Week 5 first run.
I am still amazed at the rapid progress this C25K has done for my fitness levels. I mean its only 5 weeks since I was downing a cheeky bottle of red on the couch with my oversized dinner. What's also great is that the cost of all this, thus far, has been minimal. A pair of trainers, some shorts and a couple of tops AND No monthly gym charges! Ha!
To all those embarking on this C25K from the start, do this - believe in it - because with some determination you will feel amazing. I do!
As Frasier used to say "thanks for listening"
