I am about to do w6r3, 25 minutes, but it's blowing a hoolie up to 42 mph. I don't really fancy the wind but have never run on a treadmill and think it'll bore me. Any advice? It looks to be the same tomorrow.

Help - 42mph gusts - treadmill?
Ok I'm going outside. I got hailed on this morning and it's going to get colder this week so here I go....
YOU CAN DO IT, canidoit!!!! Consider the gale force winds resistance training! I can sympathize with you. We live in a region with high winds being very common. I will still take the wind over the boredom of a treadmill. I hope the run went well! Gayle
Hi Gayle. Were you named after your weather?!!
I'm just back after opting for fresh air. Just after I went out the winds blew the black clouds away and the sun came out making about an 8 deg C jump in temperature! I tried to keep to the trees and actually enjoyed myself and came home very proud tho' hot.
3.4km in 25 minutes. How does that sound?
5 minutes after coming home a hail storm appeared. My son came upstairs and said 'Did you see the size of some of those stones?' No they weren't record breaking but I was pleased I wasn't running in it!
Roll on week 7.
Nicola
They may not have been record breaking stones Nicola, but better falling on the ground then breaking your head! I'm happy the run went well for you and the distance sounds Fab! I get teased about the name alot. Here in the states we have a few expressions about someone being "windy" which actually means they never shut-up. I suppose I live up to the name...just ask my husband.
