Yes I have! I dont think I was prepared for the rollercoaster. Ive just finished week 3 this morning. At times ive been nervous, scared, excited, over the moon, back to being nervous, deflated, back to being excited. Its a total rollercoaster but just go with it. Embrace the highs so you can remember these if it gets tough. If you have a run where you feel its hard or its tough remember how it felt walking home this morning and how proud you were and remind yourself you can do it. In the podcasts for Week 3 Laura says that you have to keep going and that the high of finishing and doing it will outweigh any pain you feel. Its true!. I had that on W1R1 where I nearly cried all the way home. I had it on Thursday too for my first run on Week 3. I couldnt believe I had run for 3 mins non stop when 2 weeks before I struggled to do 60 seconds!! Well done and keep going:)

I burst into tears after I completed Week 5 Run 3 - the dreaded 20 minutes. Poor old man walking his dog nearby didn't know what to do for the best - good job I was grinning like a cheshire cat at the same time :O)

First time I did C25K when I completed the last run W9R3, I jumped about, almost shouting "I've done it, I've only gone and done it" A few passers by looked a bit surprised but just smiled and kept walking. You have a right to feel emotional we all have worked hard to achieve success. Keep going you are over the hardest part, its just taking it at a steady pace from now on to complete the programme, good luck.

I never imagined that I would have this problem but I've had a chest infection over the last week and so have been unable to run which has left me really tearful!!!??? My family think I'm hiding a terrible problem as they don't believe I'd cry over not running lol x

That is really funny! Though I totally understand it too! Perhaps you need to show them this blog!

One of the things I love about running is that for me most runs seem to encompass a whole range of emotions. There are moments when I'm angry, frustrated, desperate, despondent but there are also those wonderful moments when I feel proud, overjoyed, excited and thrilled.

It makes me feel alive!

Enjoy!
