Does anybody else keep getting mixed up and calling this the couch potato to 5k?
If my friend is with me she will always correct me but I say in my case it's true - I was a couch potato before I started this programme!

I made couch potatoes look active ...
But I suppose I was more of a potato than an actual couch. Round, a bit of a blob, and just lay in the ground most of the time.
I guess it doesn't matter whether we start as a couch or a potato - it's the fact that we can make the change and end up as 5k-ers that's so amazing!
I'm interested in your name - I used to run a bit before my family came along - then took up C25K thirty years later. Literally - we'll be celebrating my twins' 30th birthday next weekend - the last day of the 5x50 challenge. Sounds like a good excuse for two parties in one!
You are certainly not on your own. I'd assumed that the title of the programme " Coach to 5K " was hinting in some way to the expression "coach potato". Never crossed my mind that it was anything else!
I was better suited to the label 'lazy slob now off the couch to 5K'
