..... never, ever, give up! I've been a non runner, I've been a graduate, I've been a 'flimsy' runner but I've never given running up, it's in my blood now and it's something I need to do even if I'm not doing it all the time. I've kept reading the blogs and seeing how new and old alike are keeping themselves motivated and it kept me motivated that when I did go back to running I could do it too. I recently started running on the C25K programme again recently and tomorrow I'll be starting (and finishing) W4. Because I've ran before and my fitness isn't too bad I'm accelerating myself through the programme.

I've had a change to my job role (promotion yay!) which means a lot of travel which has made fitting in running difficult but in an odd way it's made me want to run more and I'm fitting in runs at 05:00 on weekdays and if I run on a weekend it's whenever I get a chance.

Soon I think I'll be away for 8 weeks, possibly 10, with work which I was a little worried about as I'm a girl who loves being home but I've tried to look at the positives and the hotel I will be staying at has just had a huge refurb and the gym & spa facilities look AMAZING! So if I do have to stay then I can get my fitness up and then relax in the spa afterwards :)

I'm back and I can only get better. Here's to some more dedication. 5K here I come (again)!!!

Happy jogging folks :)

I like the idea of making sure I run if I'm ever away from home, just so I can run in as many places as possible. This has meant having to do very early morning hangover runs (following a school reunion!) but none where I didn't feel better for having done it.

Enjoy your time away !
