Well, that was easier than I expected .... I wonder if I'm going too slowly and if I should pick up the pace a little to push myself more?
I've been running in time to the music but I found last week and then today really quite easy. Today although I could feel my muscles they didn't hurt (whereas weeks one and 2 were killers!). On sunday, I think I'll try running just a wee bit faster and see if I can do it, or if it's too much.
On the plus side during the 5 minute run I found I just took my brain off the hook. Wasn't thinking of how far I'd come or how long I had to run. I was just counting my breaths and living in the moment.
For a mildly obsessive planner like me, that was a novel experience. I liked it.
Am looking forward to Sunday's run.
