Well it may of taken me 14 weeks but I've done it, I've had snow, illness and a lack of confidence which means I have repeated runs here and there as I've been too scared to move on especially week 1 when I nearly cried at the thought of running for 1min (repeated twice) and on week 5 when the run time jumped to 20 mins.
But with the help and support from my sons and you guys here on the blog page the ups and downs have been put in perspective and tonight i ran 5.2k in 34 mins (even tried a new hilly route).
Completing the programme is definitely the highlight of my year so far, I am also pleased that 3 of my friends have started the programme inspired by my continuous (perhaps a tad annoying) updates on facebook.
I congratulate everyone who is either completing or has completed the programme and cannot wait to get that little green badge to mark my achievement, whoever would have thought 8 little green letters could mean so much
