Excellent... also the bit towards the end: "the feeling of anticlimax after the race, when the certainty, focus and direction of the past few months disappears". Something even we newly graduated C25K-ers might fall prey to if we're not careful. Good job there are plenty of other programmes out there if needs be. ;-)

I cannot imagine running a marathon. 42K :-D And in 3/4 hours :-p It takes me 45 minutes to do 6K, but I suppose it's a 'head' thing. All in the mind, right?

You have done very well. I am very jealous of your new waistline.

Thanks George. I hope I'm disciplined enough to keep it!

If you were disciplined enought to reach the goal you will maintain it.

Several years ago I weighed 19 stone 8 I now weigh 15 and a half.

I have been "stuck" for a long time but the c25k has prevented me from gaining weight since I did it.

Thanks for sharing Delia, inspiring article
