Been using Stiolto Respimat for years. Had horrible reactions with others but each person is different. I'm sure you won't see immediate positive effects. Give it time. I've had advanced Emphysema for almost 10 years and have been completely off supplemental 02 for almost 5 years due to exercise and supplements.

Thank you for your reply.I did ask gp for a rescue Inhaler but she said there isn't one I can use with the Inhaler I am on now..

How long does the stiolto start to work ,I feel like my lungs are falling out in the mornings.

Also how do you take your inhaler with a spacer or direct into the mouth? I just wondered as I been given a spacer to try.

Is the med you named the same as Sprivia once a day pill that is crushed and then inhaled? I use the Ventolin rescue inhaler with a spacer. The spacer makes the med go deeper into your lungs, not just on your tongue. Everyone with a lung disease should have a rescue inhaler with them at all times. You need to demand it from your pulmonologist. My is us prescribed 2 puffs 4x a day. However, I rarely use it more than2x. It is a life saver. Literally.

Nice meeting you, I'm new to posting here too.

As far as Google search goes, I use it all the time. However, use the browser Duck Duck Go, it weeds out the left's narrative.

Mayo clinic is a good source of info.

I lean towards natural products but I can't swallow capsules, only small pills like my Klonopin and D3.👍

Hi again,

So I just used Google to type in the name of your inhaler and up comes their own website. It clearly states on there that stiolto respimat is NOT for sudden COPD flares. Always carry a rescue inhaler. Here's the link.

stiolto.com

Good luck.😊

Did you get a chance to view the link for you medical maker? It clearly states it in their website. Then you could call the drug company and ask them. Believe me I've had to jump through hurdles for my health because of uninformed medical professionals. Your pharmacist knows far more about your prescription than the any Dr. Have you ever had the luxury of viewing your entire health records online. It's awesome, and full of your treatment, tests, labs. I study them in detail and go back years and compare. And I found dome serious errors on my record. Which they refuse to remove. Like shingles, I've never had, just told them I took the vaccine and the pneumonia.

I say this rather boldly because you'll have to fight for your needs met and to be heard. No go know enough about COPD to be treating it. I bypass my gp and get treated by my pulmonologist only. She listens and we learn things together....she treats the whole person fears and all.

You keep fighting. Your medsbarebto help you breathe better. A rescue inhaler is for when we have sudden "Flare", feels like an asthma attack, the albuterol opens your airways instantly! Hence rescue. I keep Azithromycin and 10 mg of prednisone in my night stand all the time, prevents an ER trip. Don't forget to check the listed side affects. 👍🙏

Wow fantastic Ij do you have copd as well? What supplements are you taking, I take them but don't seem to be doing much for me at all. You truly are amazing to be off from taking oxygen at all. I'm so happy for you. Whatever exercise you're doing keep it up as you sound like a teenager lol 😆 x

I was given it to try also. First time I took it, I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Wasn't for me that's for sure!!
