Morning, thanks to the welcome messages and advice on this site I spoke to my nurse about the rehab course to see if I could book on. Following the conversation to cut a long story short, I have now been referred for a pulmonary rehab course via virtual reality, I wondered had anyone else done the course this way and if you know what I entails. Seems an interesting concept.
Thanks

Hi direThe reason these courses are unavailable is due to covid. I myself am waiting but I don't fancy doing it via zoom. You can look on you tube there are quite a few videos from around the world. For now I will stick to my daily 8 thousand steps around the local park. 😎
I've never done polmonary rehab this way ,I have done it three years ago in a class at my local hospital ,worked wonders for me ,I have been referred back to them ,I had phone call from rehab last week they are starting back up agian in my area ,not in the hospital this time ,for some reason I can see it been called of
Thanks Alice a lot of people on here have said they are good courses will see what happens when I get the equipment. Perhaps you lose the interaction with other people doing it virtually
It is becoming more and more prevalent. A great alternative for tgose that either do not have in-person available or are unable to get to an in-person session. If you can find a virtual one that allows you to interact with your fellow members, that also provides the cameraderie and social contact with others also going thru this. That, I feel is also important.John
