This past few days I have been finding it very difficult to breathe i use my treadmill and taught this was enough for my breathing today when my breathing got a little bit worse i decided that I would get outside and go for a nice slow walk in total about 1 mile when I came back to the house I felt great couldn’t believe how good I was so now I am not going to worry about people think of me walking slowly probably my imagination that causes me to freak out going to get out and walk every day take care everyone duff

So glad that your walk outdoors helped with your breathing. It's good that the treadmill can be a backup plan, depending on the weather. I also feel that walking helps me more than not. Keep up the good work. 👏👏

That's fantastic, let people think what they want you just do what makes you feel better. Have a good day and take care of yourself 😊 Bernadette xx

Well done for not letting it beat you. I don't go swimming because I am so slow but I will follow your example and stop worrying about what other people think

So glad for you. I love hearing posts like this, where people hear someone elses struggles followed by successes & apply them to themselves. I've been helped like this before. At first it may feel like you're swimming upstream, but it'll get easier with practice. Pls keep us posted. We all need encouragement. :) Terri

Hello Duff. Great that u feel a lot better after ur walk. I firmly believe that exercise is the key to it all. Have u asked ur doctor to put u in touch with a Pulmonary rehab team. I found it very beneficial. U meet a lot of nice people and the team there are very helpful in lots of ways. Although I only get 6 weeks with them on the NHS I found it very good. Where I live they do a maintenance class once a week after the 6 weeks, which u have to pay for. I can’t sing their praises enough. Good luck and best wishes to u. 👍🤓🏋️‍♀️
