Hi Nanny 1086. You should shake your inhaler to feel if there is still some in it. As part of saving the planet I've been put on Easyhaler Salbutamol sulfate 100micrograms/dose dry powder inhaler, I was given it instead of the normal Ventolin as it doesn't use propellant gases. It's a powder form like my Trelegy Ellipta. I think you'll find that your surgery has to prescribe it for you.

Hi Nanny.

I have never had a normal inhaler because I was worried that the inhaler might be empty when I needed it. I use the ones you're describing instead. You should ask for the Ventolin Accuhaler. I always have peace of mind with them.

Yes the accuhaler is dry powder. Looking online, there is another called Ventolin HFA that has a dose counter. You might be able to ask for that.

I get my Abuterol from Mexico. 3 of them for about $5 bucks. Been using them for years. Cheap so you can have them every where you need them and if you toss one thats not quite done, o well. Only way to go, just need a friend that goes to Mexico........ Oh, they work just fine and my docs have no problem with them.
