Hello Everyone, Larry just told me he has felt a "wierd" pain in his chest for 2 years. He was diagnosed with COPD around that time. Anyone familiar with a "wierd" pain at the top of the heart ? Thanks Lisa

Needs to see his doctor ASAP...Could be one of many things.

He needs to make sure his doctor knows about this and that his doctor acts on it. It could be just a muscle thing or something far more. Does the pain stay in the same place or move around? Is it an achy type pain or does it feel like pins and needles? Has he noticed anything that makes it better or just go away? Sorry for the questions but these are the things his doctor will need to know. Any pain in the heart or lung area should be taken serious and looked into.

Thank you so much Lorbic - I'm new to this group and to the COPD experience. Lisa

Yes I have pain on the left side. It comes and goes. Anymore it's more frequent. Seems as my lung disease progresses so does the pain. Have had cat scans pet scans etc. but nothing (other than COPD).

Have one right now and get the pain occasionally. Just love the meds with all the side effects.

Thank you MaryAnne - I appreciate your acknowledgement and empathy. Had not considered it could be a side effect of the meds.

Sorry to say but sometimes I wonder if the many side effects, dry eye, dry mouth, aches and pains, muscle spasms and cramps. The weight gain is the worst as most of it is in the belly. Companies do not list it as a side effect as quote. "It ONLY affects less than 1%." I think they mean only that percentage has reported it because there is much more than one percent. If you go into forums for your particular meds you will also meet people that are using you brand etc.
