My name is Berta. I was diagnosed about 9 to 10 years ago with COPD/ chronic bronchitis. Well over the years had 3 different specialist change up my tx. The last has done very well, but I know have repeated problems with palpitations and heart attack like emergencies. Heart great they say, so is it them meds and anyone else had these issues?. What is tx I have COPD because I smoked for years and am on oxygen 24/7 so I do not know what to say. They say I have emphysema ( spelling)

Hi Berta,nice to meet you. I've had palpatations since I was 16 or maybe earlier. your doc can give you meds for it..I've also found co q 10 (vitamin) can help when you having a palpitation, also slow deep relaxed breathing..good luck hon

Hello Berta..Keep after them..I was told for months that my heart was good.. and it is.. it's one of the arteries that isn't.. had a blockage now have a stent..Dr.s argued with me that it was my meds, then being bipolar, then it was nothing but panic attacks.. don't be afraid to stick to your guns.. only you know what is normal for you..So hang in there..
