Jumping in your sleep

Hi does anybody else experiance jumping in their sleep & feel like you have died its so scary ? Been to docs he said its not night tremors or sleep apneoa

Not me but my significant other does that. Every 30-60 seconds he jumps. It kept me up all night. He has really bad Sleep Apnea and refuses to wear a mask. He has to sleep in the other room now.

He really should.ihave it too.The reason he jumps up is because he actually stops breathing.He should use his Cpap.

besides COPD also have PD. Associated with PD have REM Sleep Disorder.

associated with violent movement. Apparently associated with dreams?

Perhaps sleep specalist could sort out for you?

That really should be checked out by a sleep specialist.you must feel exhausted in the morning

I have been to a sleep specialist nothing showed up bizzare

I did that and did a sleep study and found out I had sleep apnea. I would stop breathung in my sleep and jerk myself awake. The jerking is what gave my dr the idea to have me tested. I sleep like a dream now and feel well rested
