When I woke up early this morning my O2 was 83. Its back up to 97 now, but all I want to do is sleep

You should take to your lung Dr. 83 is not good, maybe you need a machine when you sleep.

Hi u need oxygen therpy at night it's common when u r just starting to have the effects of COPD get your dr to set u up with some and use it also do the sleep test u can do them at home now , u may need c-pap

I am on pxygen 24/7. I have a unit in the home that lets me walk around the house and I also have to sleep with oxygen.

I am the same way my O2 levels is usually like 97 but when I first wake up it can be down to 83

I have a Bi-Pap. In fact it is steps UP from that it is a AVP machine.

Have you tried walking around and taking deep breathes? Sounds like you might have co2 build up. If that doesn't work call the doctor and let them know.

Stacking of co2 can happen it's called co2 retention , the only way is to get and ABG test it's a blood test check to see the Blanche in your blood see if your getting enough oxygen to ,

I do have a Bi-Pap machine. My O2 is low when I just wake up. In a couple of minutes its back up to 97

Do u where your oxygen at night ck, line and also make sure your getting oxygen ,

My oxygen was dropping only at night which is soooooo not good for you. So my dr put me on oxygen only at night. It was only happening while I slept. A few years later I started dropping oxygen bevels now I'm on 24/ 7 oxygen. Don't wait to tell your dr..you are your own best advocate with your dr. I was also extreamly tired all day when my night time o2 dropped. Once I started using it at night I was sleeping better and had much more energy during the day. I wish I had told my dr sooner
