hello everyone .

I have had pain in my low left quadrant , it’s literally below my bikini line so unsure even if it is bowel related . My fecal calprotectin came back as 690, but I’m being tested for h plorie so I assume I’ve had a stomach bug .

However the pain in the area stated , below my bikini line left . Last for a few seconds sharp pain then stops . Probs get it 5/6 times a day. Very strange . I’m 25 , no bleeding and I’m petrified it’s cancer I have crippling health anxiety.

Wondering if anyone else had this pain?

Hi Kali2306,

Thanks for posting with us. I hate to hear you’re having to deal with this. Anytime there is abdominal pain there needs to be an answer for it. Have you had any other symptoms besides the pain? I would think that a “stomach bug” would cause other symptoms like diarrhea. Has your doctor talked about getting a CT scan to see if there’s anything physically causing this pain? Do your doctors know the pain sometimes goes down to your knee? Perhaps some kind of nerve damage of something? I see that you are after the answers and that’s great. Do not stop until you get a definitive answer for what’s going on.

You are young and that’s a good thing. It's a definite advantage. One thing to know is your family history. Is there a family history of any type of disease that may be causing this? That would be good information for your doctor to know. Another thing about being young is that you should never accept the diagnosis based on your age. Never accept that it couldn’t be something because you are too young for that something to be happening. A symptom is a symptom no matter what the age of the patient. Please keep that in mind when speaking with your doctors. It looks like you are getting some testing done and that’s fine, but don’t leave there until you find a definitive answer for what’s going on.👍❤️The fact it goes down your leg should give your doctors some insight ... I would think.

I hope there are others on this site that may have had a similar situation. They can give some enlightenment on their experience.

We do wish you the best of finding out what’s going on. Please let us know what you find out as it is that type of information that can be helpful to others as well.

Thank you,
