it’s been two weeks with this new forms of poop. Also, always a bit of poop stay in me and sometimes on my underware. When I go pee, this poop get out easily without having felt that I need to poop. Sorry if I don’t explain quite the rights words. English is not my language.

Also note that I had a big fécalome 4 months ago and it was really hard to get rid of it at the hospital. Took like 7 lavements and was really really painful.

my question is? Is this form normal or pencil poop?

Hi Cat4ever,

Thanks for posting with us. And please know your English is just fine👍👏.

I would think you would be the best judge as to what is normal and what it not. Thinning poop is one sign of what could be many different things going on. It definitely wouldn't hurt to get it checked out and give you some peace of mind.

Since you have had a history of fecaloma 4 months ago, has it been ok until this symptom started happening? Was there a diagnosis as to the cause and are you on some form of meds / therapy to prevent it again? There could be some inflammation going on? It could be many different things. Getting it checked out would probably be the best thing to do and get you on a path to being well and not having to worry about it.

We do wish you the best in finding out what's going on. Also, please let us know what you find out as that kind of information can be helpful to others on this site as well.

Thank you,

Thank you for your response! Since the Fecaloma I was at the emergency so they just took care of THE emergency. I take some soft laxatif once a day to prevent constipation. I have a appointement tomorrow with a doctor. I guess some testing would be propose like fit test. I will come back to let the forum know.

Perfect. Perhaps make some notes on all the symptoms you have been experiencing so you are sure to cover them. Sometimes discussions can go in all different directions so this way you can make sure to cover everything.

Good thinking👏 .... a FIT test would be good information to have. Also, if there is any family history of medical issues or disease, that would be good information for the doctor to know as well. It may lead to some other tests to do as well.

All the best for tomorrow👍

Up date

I saw my doctor. She said we won’t do a fit test. Will go directly to colonoscopy. She ask for it before two months and priority. I did not received my appontement call. My poop still the same although I take la addy powder 2 times a day and Colace 3x day to prevent constipation. Weird fact, I took weight: about 5 pounds. My poop still weird and flotting. Also find some weird stuff in it. I guess this is aliment that was not digested? Hope to have a call soon for colonoscopy.
