Can someone help me on the blood on my poop, I did colonoscopy in March, it turns out good and now I will poop abit blood like this once every 3-4 weeks, can someone tell me what’s that, any answer will be appreciated

Hi Mondlee6248, that's good news about your colonoscopy results, but you will need to follow up with your medical provider if you are experiencing blood in your stool. There are many different causes for blood in the stool and it is important that your doctor checks you out to determine what the cause is. Keep us posted!

There is no results, I went for a few tests, Colonoscopy, blood test, stool test, CT scan, MRI but all no result.
So no diagnosis? 🤔 interesting. I wonder what could be causing the blood then?

Similar situation. So I had a normal colonoscopy and no polyps, but I continue to bleed and have constipation. Anyone know what this could be? The doc didn’t mention I had hemorrhoids or anal fissure, but would he be able to see these in a colonoscopy anyway? Still worried with no peace of mind yet until I get to the bottom of the cause of this bleeding and constipation.

Had a telehealth for a second opinion from a different doc and he put me on a strict fiber diet, stool softener, and a cortisone anal cream to heal a potential fissure or hemorrhoids. In reviewing my previous colonoscopy from 7/31/20 he noted that the doctor forgot to take a picture of the anus where hemorrhoids or a fissure would be present. He suspects this is most likely what it is, but if my bleeding and constipation don’t cease in a month then he wants to do an in person follow up and rectal exam and if necessary a second colonoscopy. So far my constipation has gone away and my stools are much softer. However, I continue to bleed but not as much as before. Yet I still almost always bleed at least a little bit or see blood on the toilet paper. But I can tell the bleeding has become less intense so it seems like it may be healing up in that area. I suspect and cross my fingers that this may be a chronic anal fissure that is attempting to heal but only time will tell. Thanks for asking.

Yes I did in March, ct scan, MRI on rectum, blood test for cancer marker and even stool test

Wait...this is very interesting because I am having exactly the same problem. Same color stool as the picture with the occasional little blood (about 70% less than the picture). However, I started eating eating a lot of curry because they opened a restaurant by my work.

I have the same problem but it tends to happen make every 2 weeks I’m not sure if it’s because I’m taking creatine pills and natural testosterone pills not sure if it helps but I was food poisoning and I had parasites in my stomach a while back I don’t feel constipated the only thing I do feel is like a burning sensation like I want to scratch my butt once in a while I have an experienced this in over 2 weeks just happen now. My stool seems normal color brown sometimes hard some times soft no diarrhea no pain or fatigue just the blood here and there last time I remember seeing this was November 2-4 now it’s November 19

I’m 19 and this happened to me couple of times like this is maybe like 3 times if I can remember it doesn’t happen like every week but on Sunday it was really red but I don’t feel pain unless I push really hard then my pain is on my upper left side

Hello, How Long did Your Bleeding Last? Cause Mine Started Dec24 2020 and I am Still Suffering With it.Got Checked by Our Pediatrician, She Put Her Finger inside, No Abnormalities. Hi I have the same problem. Seeing blood clots on my poop. I have hemmoroids but hopefully it's just hemmoroids. I don't feel anything from my stomach. I always poop in the morning and not constipated.

So for the past 4 or so months, in my stool I see darkish brown spots in it, while the rest of it is light brown. I wipe and see that there are red streaks. I also have abdominal pain that occurs both sides on and off. I sometimes feel tired and my body temperature goes up as well, sometimes im nauseous. Sometimes when I sit, I feel uncomfortable and pain when I sit down. I'm not sure if it's IBS, hemorrhoids, or cancer related. Any thoughts?
I think urs is haemorrhoids. But you don’t see visible blood in your blood right ?
No, just dark brownish spots. I only see the blood when I wipe. The smell is awful aswell.

Update: stool was wierd today. It kind of looked like the first image in the Community post, but to add, it had the dark brown spot outline aswell. If that makes sense.

Hello I am 17 years old I was suffering from anxiety for a while now and now constipation I was so so scared when I saw blood in my stool it was bright red and now I'm overthinking so much like am I going to explode or am I going to die this never happend before like my stomach hurt but it's not like pain pain it has calmed down now bearly feel pain but I always feel bloated sometimes i am sceard please help

Not long it was just once after that I'm trying to eat more fiber so my poop can go soft it was Friday night when I saw blood in my stool I was so afraid it didn't hurt but after like a few min it started to hurt a little then I got a fever but that went away fast but still get cramps and feel bloated and no not yet tho tomorrow have a doctors appointment so we will see tomorrow but I am scared since I have anxiety it will get worse

You are constipating so most probably the haemorrhoids are causing ur bleeding

I’ve went for colonoscopy/MRI/CT scan and tumor marker but polyps was found, so ent for biopsy and was Benign, so I really don’t know what happen

Actually I do, I used to post that I have the feeling of unfinished feeling especially like at the anus area but over here that’s not much people know on this and even my doctor give me check can’t say much but it eventually went away. My bleeding actually had gone but Mayb I still see a little bit once a few months but I really do hope nothing sinister and finger cross. So far I had stop going for any consultation because the doctor could not give me anything or advice, he just tell me found nothing besides a few polyps and it’s benign so if u still bleed but just a little, then accept it and forget it. Lol, I don’t know what to say

I’ve been having blood in my stool for a while now. Maybe a year. It’ll happen every time for about two weeks then go away for a month or so then come back. Bleeding is usually pretty subtle but still stings when I’m passing. Occasionally bleeding has been moderate to where I can see droplets in toilet. Any ideas? Bro I have the same issue , I’m also younger at 28 male. It seems like a lot of people are getting these abdominal pain and poop issues after getting the mRNA vaccine. Did you experience this soon after your vaccine? Doctors cannot diagnose mine either I have done colonoscopy endoscopy blood test and now just submitted stool test. This is crazy the doctor is saying it’s IBS which is BS.
Lol try two colonoscopys and endoscopy in less then 9 months I’m literally back to bleeding dark red maroon blood mixed in my stool. They said it was my “internal hemorrhoids “ and IBS it don’t really add up to be I’m only 27 .
That’s sad, the colonoscopy prep sucks I don’t want to do it again. Even for me the doctors r taking long my issue is ongoing for 6 months here and seem not to put my issue in priority. I hope you are taking your Metamucil (I’m up to 3 glasses a day now) and probiotic supplement which I just switched from align to another brand that has many different probiotics instead of just 1. My stools r still bad I’m over 3-4 months on align probiotic but no help
Don’t feel bad I literally bled for 9 months straight before my second colonoscopy. I don’t even take any medication anymore an my stools are super watery an mucus type so I never felt a need to take Metamucil you know
Based on my research psylium fiber is really good for us. The top GI specialists say that. Not only does it reduce cholesterol and reduce appetite (for weight loss) but it acts as a stool softener as well as a stool bulkier . So if your having water stools this will help give your stool some structure. So far I have not found any negatives of this fiber supplement but Metamucil brand is the best and unsweetened version so no sugar or other sweetener . The brand has its fiber mixed with other things to help it mix with your glass of water. Your supposed to chug the mix because it thickens quickly and taste gooey after if you let it sit. I’m surprised if your doctor didn’t tell you to use psyllium fiber/Metamucil.
My first GI doctor told me to use Metamucil my second GI doctor didn’t mention it . I guess I’m gonna have to try it! I definitely need something to bulk my stool up because it never formed ! I’m going to go out an guy some this week
Nice yes use it regularly. They say you have to start small amounts and work your way up so your body gets used to it. They say drink lots of water with it or you can get constipated. You can try the original flavour it’s orange with sugar if you want a good tasting drink. So after about 2 weeks of using it regularly you should hopefully see a difference. I’m using it daily for months now but my stools are still messed up right now, they are semi loose…but I do believe it is helping or it could be worse. I’m slowly building it up. When I used it before my current issue (for hemeroids) it was really great and I saw and felt good results …best stools I have ever had. I suffered constipation before which caused my hemeroids, but I noticed even diareah makes my hemeroids inflamed…I think because of how urgently it gets released with no control while my muscles r trying to control the bowel movement.
Yeah hemorrhoids definitely get worse even with loose bowel movements. Because I’m never constipated like ever an they found the internal hemorrhoids both of my exams . Do you actually bleed a lot from you hemorrhoids and have you not noticed is the blood actually in your stool because I actually have blood in my stool not just on it . But im definitely gonna start the Metamucil this week .
My hemorrhoids r not considered internal but they are internal…I can feel them on the outside. I think internal is when it’s deeper inside. I can feel them with my finger inside the anal hole. So I use anosul (zinc based) over the counter medication which works well for me. There are also suppositories which you can insert and get the deeper ones healed. This is non steroidal medication. I used to use proctocydl first (steroid) which worked great but after many years started causing severe itching when applied. I have not noticed blood in the stool but on the outside like streaks then on my tissue paper, or dripping from me while in the toilet. Usually the hemeroids hurt too so I can feel them. If you’rs r internal hemeroids I’m not sure about those because I heard you cannot feel them as there’s no nerves there. So it’s possible that since it’s much deeper that the blood gets inside the stool as it’s formed. If you have internal hemeroids shouldn’t the doctor perform a procedure to heal them? Recently I have found pink/reddish flesh on the outside and also inside of the stool. I don’t know what it is but I thought it was blood at fist. When taking my samples for the parasite test I digged and found this reddish flesh inside the stool too like a big Chunk. This is worrying me. I’m doing another blood test now because I’m getting dizzy and frequent headaches. You might want to consider another blood test if it’s been a while , it should say if you have an infection or too much blood loss / defecency
It’s only been about 7 months an I just had my blood tested for iron deficiency in October an everything was normal . An yeah that’s what I thought maybe they would band the internal ones . But nope my doctors never said anything about it. Are you sure it wasn’t bloody mucus because hemorrhoids do cause mucus I heard . And you said you did receive a colonoscopy right ?
Yes it was thick and not mucous , there were other pieces that looked like tiny earth worms but this piece inside was a big one so I’m not sure. I put it in the container for the testing but not sure if they will do anything with that. I did the colonoscopy and the dr told me no hemeroids. You should ask for a full blood test because it can check white blood cell count which will tell you if you have an infection.
Did they have any other results from your colonoscopy. I also had biopsy’s taken. I have microscopic colitis of the entire colon an small bowel. But that’s not suppose to cause bleeding . You may have an infection also a lot of ppl have parasites I got tested for all of that you name it . All my test came back normal. But I bought the Metamucil packets tonight !
Yeah they took biopsies of mine too but all normal, no findings at all. That’s why the doctor told me I have IBS. I have loose / semi loose stools and abdominal pain so that’s why he says IBS. He told me to go on align probiotic and Metamucil which I did since November but no improvement…in fact it’s in January when I noticed the things in my stool. Nice job getting the metamucil…this fiber is really good for us. After about a week / 2 weeks you should notice a difference in bowel movements (likely sooner to be honest). Make sure to drink plenty of water so that the fiber does not make things worse such as constipation. Start with maybe 1 or 2 a day then ramp up to 3 times a day and remember to chug it…but you can let it sit one time to experience how the fiber forms and creates a nice smooth goo which is what it does in your body. It just harder to drink when it thickens so they say to mix and drink fast. I hope your bleeding stops with this but I have a feeling it will help especially if it’s caused by hemeroids
Well to be completely honest with you I know a couple people with IBS an it’s pretty severe . They said I have IBS along with microscopic colitis and internal hemorrhoids. They actually prescribed me medication for it an there were all these warning signs on the bottle about vision loss an ect an I literally threw it right in my garbage can when I got home 🤣🤣 sometimes you literally just get so fed up you quit that’s how I felt an things actually went back to normal for like 7 months very oddly they said all the mucus I poop is from IBS so look out for that because I go to the bathroom tons of it . Get a second colonoscopy it may ease your mind I got two with the same results. It might just make you feel better you know what I mean ? It’s scary when your body is acting weird an you can’t figure it out . An pray about it . But trust me I know where your at searching for answers . My first GI doctor told me I needed to see a therapist.. literally called me to tell me that.even tho he had test results infront of him saying I had inflammation in my body . Thankfully my second GI doctor recognized it !
If nothing is found means you are safe, I had that thoughts too two years back but then I gave up searching and eventually everything become better, Mayb try not to eat too much fried food, start from ur diet.I heard doc say before if u have internal hemorrhoids, no matter how soft the stool is, it will still bleed
Should I ask for CT or MRI scan? Did you do that for yours? CT scan is very high radiation (100 X-rays)

Sometimes we got to believe nothing means nothing, I gave up too and eventually everything is good
Lol doctors are tired of seeing my face I think after two colonoscopys and an endoscopy they want to throw me out the office because I’m still like are you guys sure it’s nothing else. Can hemorrhoids actually caused blood mixed in the stool though. I think that’s what’s stressing me out I literally bled for 8 months straight then I it went away for 7 months an now it’s back . Both colonoscopys results said the bleeding was coming from my internal hemorrhoids. And it’s not always bright red it’s maroon or darker sometimes
