Blood on toilet paper

hey everyone,

So for a while I have been seeing blood on my toilet paper. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it does happen frequent enough that I’m a bit concerned. It usually takes for me to wipe twice to actually see the blood. It’s not much and it is bright red. For what I can tell I don’t think there is blood in my stool.

I also noticed the blood is not limited to one area. I think there are little fissures along my butts crack, but it’s been happening for a while so I don’t think they are healing. I’ve been worried about colon cancer, but I’m not sure. Is this something to be concerned about? Should I see a doctor? Thanks

Hello Gyshuo

I think you should speak with your doctor about this as it will give you some insight into what your symptoms might be as I know from experience the worry I was having about my own symptoms really affected my mental health

Read my previous threads exact same thing. Got colonoscopy super relieved. Get it checked out but sounds very similar to my situation. But you will worry until you know most likely from nothing more than internal hemorrhoid. Best of luck get a doc to check and you will feel such relief
