Ive been having bleeding from my anus for a while now. I wont even be trying to make a bowel movement and the bleeding just starts shooting out my rectum it’s like im peeing blood from my anus. Im very concerned and have been very scared but when i tried to talk to my doctor about it they just asked if i was having “rough anal sex”. I was very offended and taken back by that response ive tried seeking medical help but nobody will take me seriously. Sometimes i even get blood stains in my underwear from the amount of bleeding Please help!

I actually can’t believe that was your doctors response! What a pig!! Did he offer any tests to investigate further? I would suggest you make an appointment with another dr and show them this photo! Have you had a fit test?
i know it was extremely upsetting. I am working with a new doctor now . The old doctor did not offer any test just advice hemorrhoid cream. I have not had a fit test but i will talk to the new doctor about it. Thank you
Thanks for posting with us. I am glad to see that you found a new doctor to deal with. That other doctor shouldn't be in business. You will probably be given a FIT test as a matter of protocol. With the blood you are experiencing, it should come back positive so don't be surprised by that. I would think a colonoscopy would be in order to figure out what's going on. I think you're all over this and looking for those answers. When there is blood in the stool, there needs to be a good answer for it.
Some other good information to know would be if there is any hereditary medical issues in your family. This would be good information for your doctor to Noah as well. It could lead to some further testing that could be beneficial.
I do wish you the best in finding answers to what's going on. Please let us know what you find out as it is this type of information that can be beneficial to others on this site as well.
