I keep getting blood clots like this and heavy bleeding quite often. Everytime i go to hospital my bloods come back clear. I have had a colonoscopy and everything came back clear too. This has been going on since 2019 and still no further forward. I did cut lactose from my diet as it stopped the stomach cramps and i could pass stool normally again. But i am still really worried about the bleeding. I have been given regular checks for heamaroids but i dont have them either. I just cant seem to get any further forwatd with this as i keep thinking the worst as my father died with cancer. Any help would be appreciated

Hi Weegeo,
Thank you for posting in Colon Cancer Connected. I'm sorry that these symptoms are causing you anxiety.
I'm sorry your father passed from cancer. That's never easy to handle. My family does not have a good history with cancer. If I can ask, what kind of cancer did your father have?
Have you had genetic testing in order to ascertain if you have some kind of hereditary issue going on? My family ended up knowing we had a hereditary condition called Lynch Syndrome. You don't have to have cancer to get this checked out. It may be important to know.
As far as the blood clots that have been going on since 2019, this is definitely an area your doctors should be able to determine what is going on. It definitely a symptom and is worth finding out exactly what is going on about it. If you are not happy with the efforts of your current physician, please seek out a 2nd opinion from another doctor.
I would approach it exactly as you stated "i am still really worried about the bleeding" and wait for the intended next steps. Don't accept whatever they have been telling you as obviously it is not explaining the cause. There can be many reasons for what you are experiencing. Your doctor or a different doctor should be able to get to the bottom of your issues and give you some peace of mind.
We do wish you the very best. Please keep us informed with what you find out. It may be helpful to others as well. You are after information and answers. Please focus on getting them.
Thank You ...
