I have had bleeding in stools sometimes it’s alot and sometimes not to much I also have had blood clots here in there in toilet and on tissue. I have had these symptoms for about 6 years now. I typically have these bleeding epsiodes almost everyday. I notice also when I consume alcohol. I have a constant urge to poop and feeling that all stool hasn’t passed. Not much abdominal pain. Diarrhea and some soft normal stools not thin. Mucus sometimes as well. I have IBS too! I have had a colonoscopy in the past that came back I have hemorrhoids. I haven’t had another colonoscopy because I’m so scared. Blood test are normal. But this is going on six years. I’m hoping to be fine. I do have some slight throbbing like spasms in anus area here and there not to often as well as moderate burning sensation in anus. Wondering if any with ibs is experiencing this.

Thanks for your replies.

I also have blood in stool for years and no explanation. I had multiple colonoscopies and endoscopy and besides polyps that are being removed each time, nothing was found. This is very good news but the mystery remains.

Thanks so much for sharing. Yes it’s all a mystery. Very scary though. It’s becoming a norm for me.

Hello, I have been having on and off painless rectal bleeding since Dec 2018 and nothing has changed. I’ve had a clean CT and Colonoscopy. Drs say I’m too young, I don’t have family history and that it’s highly unlikely I have Colorectal Cancer. I’ve seeked the help I needed but all I’m told is it’s internal hemorrhoids. Thank you very much for your help and prayers to you!! Amen

Any update? Are you still bleeding? Is it a lot?

Yes I currently have been for 3/4 days after each bowel movement. Going on 4 years now. Before the 3/4 days of binge bleeding. I hadn’t bled for 2 months. I really just think it’s the internal hemorrhoid/s they saw during my colonoscopy in 2020 acting up. The blood clots I think happen from blood being built up in the hemorrhoid and than bursts. I still don’t have any pain at all. Unfortunately haven’t lost any weight either. 😀 The blood comes and goes so I really don’t worry about it anymore. The worrying becomes too stressful and not good for anything. I figured if it was something malignant I probably would have other worst symptoms. So currently only occasional bleeding. By the way I am 37 YO/Hispanic/5”11/220lbs
