Jade0494 ,Sorry to hear this is causing you so much anxiety. We do not offer medical advice so if you are concerned, you do need to seek out the opinion of a medical professional.

If you scroll through posts here you will see questions and concerns about stools that are red actually recently there was one where the woman had eaten beets as well. We've also recently had posts where people were concerned about what turned out to be carrots, potato skins, and other "roughage" which is the food that our body can't fully digest, so you see it in your stool. (This is very common with foods with seeds in it)

It is very disturbing when your stool looks abnormal. This group understands.

If it is due to beets that will be clear to you in a day or so - but again, only a medical professional can give you a professional opinion on this.

Good luck and feel free to post an update.

Just a reminder - this group is here to offer support, share experiences, and offer our thoughts - but this is not medical advice, and you should always consult your medical professional(s). Additionally, for all emergencies, seek urgent medical care, never delay.

Hello Jade , Most of the cause of reddish stools is due to diet

If there is blood in stool , it would be consistent on a daily basis .

And blood is stool is not cancer , there are various other causes for it

In your case , it's just diet , but still if you are worried , monitor it for few days and see
