Often I have what appears to be a crimson tiny lump of clot/blood (im male btw) in my stool, if I smear the lump on toilet paper it smears into blood.
I've currently been referred to a specialist but the waiting time is in the months due to covid (UK), I also have LOTS of mucus in my movements, I have two heameroids and lots of movements per day, they are normally light brown to yellow.
Negative FIT tests, nothing in bloods, not c-diff, not my stomach, not my thyroid, nothing in my stool, not elasstice or anything detectable at GP level hence the referral anyone have any experience of this?
Thanks

Hi Virond4w ,Thank you for posting in Colon Cancer Connected. I'm sorry that you are dealing with delays due to COVID. We're hearing from a number of members in the UK that are going private if financially possible in order to checked out. Are you on a waiting list? It is a difficult time and I'm sure this is causing a lot of anxiety.
That's good news on the negative FIT and nothing abnormal on your blood test.
Have you seen a doctor for your hemorrhoids before - either a primary care doctor or a specialist?
When you experience blood in the stool, the doctor will often perform a DRE (digital rectal exam) where they will both look and feel with their gloved fingers, to see if an any anal fissure (tears in the anus), hemorrhoids, or something else that could be causing the bleeding. Depending on the DRE results, any symptoms you are experiencing, and age, your doctor will determine if further tests need to be performed.

Just a reminder - this group is here to offer support, share experiences, and offer our thoughts - but this is not medical advice, and you should always consult your medical professional(s). Additionally, for all emergencies, seek urgent medical care, never delay.
Hi Virond4w ,Do you have an appointment set yet, even if it is further in the future than ideal? Hope you are feeling better, and if not, that the wait to be checked out isn't too long.
Both, I had haemorrhoid issues causing bright red blood and also within stool but with negative FIT test, I still struggle with haemorrhoid issues occasionally and I have weird stools, but with everything coming back normal I guess it's just me and IBS, I'm also having a gastrocopy and the end of the year for heartburn issues.
My advice to you would be to speak to your GP if you can, and they will refer you to a specialist if symptoms continue, I had issues for 6 months until I had my colonoscopy, also I think it's worth saying that stress can really do crazy things to your body when you become fixated with issues, especially when it comes with your colon as if you Google your symptoms you can lose your mind and as everything points to the big C, but it can be literally everything and you need to look at the numbers and the age group you're in and all the tests you can do to rule that out
Sounds like a haemorrhoid, but I'm not a doctor, I had internal and external with those issues.
In the age group 15-19 there's only an average of 18 cases per year out of an average of 23,000 a year for all age groups, so and you have to think that only 0.07% of the total averagr colon cancer patients are in your age group per year and many of those will be down to underlying genetical issues.
Try not to worry too hard and speak to your doctor
