Yellow stool with small black flecks

Hi

I have a change in bowel movements. I am now going once or twice a day (sometimes more) with a loose yellow stool that I can see small black flecks. This has been for the past 6-8 weeks.

I went to the doctor as this is a change for me and got all bloods checked as well as a stool sample for infection but all came back normal.

Has anyone had this ?

My only other symptom is getting bloated now and then. I have also been getting a lot of gas.

Hello Scotland321 ,Thanks for posting and sorry to read what you are going through.

That is positive that you had blood work and a stool sample that all came back normal. Has there been any change in the stool or has it been consistent? Did your diet change at all?

If you feel that something is off, but you haven't gotten the answers/treatments to make your condition better, we encourage you to speak to your doctor about further tests, or seek out another doctor for a second opinion.

Hi,

I have had a loose stool for the past 6+ weeks. Going between 2 - 5 times a day which is not like me.

I have another stool test and going to the doctor again next week.
