Blood in stool

Hi I’m 15 years old and I’m concerned, for the past week I’ve had some blood in my stool I’m not experiencing any pain I’m very active but the week before I started experiencing this I was sick with a inflammation of the tonsils and I was in bed most of the time. Once that cured I started experiencing this on the same day I felt better . I talked to my doctor and got a stool sample and blood test it’s been a 3-5 days and no call back. I also talked to 811 emergency physician and she said it’s probably hemorrhoids but I’m still scared for colon cancer

Hi Jeetpro ,Thank for posting and I'm sorry for what you are experiencing. I'm glad that you went to a doctor and they took a stool sample and blood test. Did the Doctor also give you a physical examination?

Please call your Doctor on Monday to follow up on the test results. It is most likely that you have a chronic condition that can be managed by medication and diet changes - but I understand how stressful this can be.
