Has anyone experienced having a stye and being prescribed by the optometrist a cream (TOBRADEX) antibacterial, cortiscosteroid to apply twice a day after applying a hot mask over the eye?
It's been two weeks and I see little improvement.
How long did it take for you to get rid of it?
FOR CONTEXT: I am on 400mg of Venetoclax for another 7 months.

For me is ok.
I find the Patient.info website very helpful for health information. They suggest the following for styes, which sounds a little different to a hot mask:
Hold a clean flannel, which has been dipped in warm water and squeezed dry, gently but firmly against the closed eye. Do this for 5-10 minutes, 3-4 times a day. (The water should be hot; it should be comfortable and not scalding.)
They say styes usually last 1-2 weeks, but that drainage may be required (presumably if not clearing up with hot compresses).
Please make sure to ask your haematology doctor/nurse/team -- optometrist may not be up to speed on your CLL permanent immune dis-regulation, and further issues via venetoclax..Do you have recent blood test results?
What level are your neutrophils?
Are you good at putting the cream precisely on the stye - or can someone help? - these things are oft tricky.
