Royal Bournemouth Hospital - Jigsaw Building

I attended the Royal Bournemouth Hospital - Jigsaw Building on Saturday, and was advised that all non chemo treatments (Blood transfusions, IVIG treatments, etc) are to now be provided by the Poole Hospital.

Just providing the Heads-Up to any Bournemouth Hospital patients.

Hi Robert,

thanks, I did the O part of O+V at the Jigsaw in 2020 knowing that my Haematologist was on site, which I found reassuring. I was uMRD when I last checked and hope that the Jigsaw can remain a very positive experience in my past.

In 2008 I did a fund-raiser to finance this unit, which opened circa 2015. More recently I used to walk past it on my way to the Dorset Research Hub/ Clinical Research Centre where they were running the Provent trial.

I had an involvement in getting the Jigsaw Building built and raised funds for the building. I had the help of this to help me.
