THE SWELLING GOT WORSE IN MY LEGS..PAIN WAS EXCRUTIATING IN LOWER BACK..HAD A SCAN DONE..THEY FOUND A TUMOR ON MY LOWER BACK THE SIZE OF A BASEBALL,,12 CM PRESSING ON MY NERVES AND ORGANS AFFECTING THE KIDNEYS ABILITY TO EMPTY THE BLADDER ..THUS I HAVE A CATHETER AND THE LIQUID OUTPUT IS UNREAL..13 IBS OF OFF OF WATER WEIGHT IN A 12 HR PERIOD...HAVING STRONG DOSES OF PREDIZONE AND CHEMO TO REDUCE THE MASS...KEEPING STRONG ..WILL BE HERE FOR AWHILE...GETTING GOOD CARE FROM THE BEST HOspital LONDON HEALTH SCIENCES CENTRE..

Very sorry to hear of the discovery of the cause for your swollen legs. Is a biopsy being arranged to find out what type of tumour you have? Do you know what treatment you are on to reduce the mass? I'm concerned that it could be related to your CLL, so I hope your CLL specialist is being kept in the loop.
Legs can hold a LOT of fluid. You'll be feeling very much better when that fluid is gone. Relieved for you that you can keep us informed so this community can support you.

At least the tumour has now been found, so appropriate treatment can be started... though that's probably small comfort at the moment.

Oh I’m so sorry to hear this ladygiraffe! I gasped when I read the cause of your issues which I’ve followed on here. I’m glad they’ve now located the cause of the swelling and pain but what an ordeal for you. You must have been in agony with that tumour pressing on vital organs.
Sending huge best thoughts and wishes to you. I hope you’re coping and have all the support you need as well as a great medical team.
