Diagnosed barely 2 months ago and on brukinsa for a month now. Tolerated fairly well so far except for mouth sores. Used magic mouthwash for10 days and cleared things up pretty well I stopped it but still getting lumpy things in mouth. Also dull ache in back molar. Anyone having trouble with mouth sores on this drug?

Mouth sores are a reasonably common occurrence with treatment, so I'm surprised to find we only have 141 posts on this topic

I hope you find something of use in these posts.

Trying to narrow down the search to include brukinsa+zanubrutinib didn't seem to find anything specific after a quick look either, sorry

When I was on Acalabrutinib I was told that rinsing with baking soda would help with mouth sores. I am now on Zanabrutinib and have not had that issue. Hope this helps! Take care!🦋

I was on a different treatment but had nasty mouth sores. It helped me to up my oral hygiene in general. I brushed my teeth after each meal. I either used salt and water or a normal mouth wash afterwards. Annoying but it helped.

Thank you! Working on it😘

Mary Ruth's liquid vitamins got rid of mine. My oncologist told me to take B vitamins for mouth sores. It works!

Hello Reetywell71

When I first started CLL treatment, infusion nurses suggested one cup of warm water with teaspoon of mixture 2/3 Baking Soda with 1/3 Table Salt twice a day. I have been doing this for years and because it keeps the bacteria low, mouth sores last 2-3 days and gone.
