Apologies for the silence. I have had quite an eventful few months. My former partner served me with a court order to sell the house which threw me somewhat. That on top of trying to deal with the loss of my mother and stepfather in quick succession sent me down a dark path. I have had counselling and am being treated for depression and anxiety. Things were looking up until 2 weeks ago, I had my shingrix booster and started to feel unwell after 2 days. I contacted my GP and the nurse said that it should subside. The following day I called 111 and the paramedic I spoke to asked me if I could get to A&E as it was likely to be a long wait for an ambulance. I was burning up extremely short of breath and my heart was beating at an extremely fast pace. A friend came to take me and when he saw me said "You are Yellow!!". I was admitted and given 2 pints of blood then a round of Rituximab. I was discharged on Wednesday and have to have 4 more rounds if Rituximab. The diagnosis was Haemolytic anaemia. Feeling weary but ok .Love and strength to all.

You’re having a rough time Jack and I hope there’s much better times ahead for you.

Jacksc06, though your news is devastating, I have to comment you sound stronger in mind and spirit through it all. I'm praying for your body to heal and you can feel the new better balance in it. Have the doctors determined you were having a bad reaction to the shingrix shot? My reaction was not as severe as yours, but enough of a scare, I said, "No more!". Surprisingly, my doctors agreed. So I always have the shingles anti viral medicine in my medicine cabinet. My outbreaks have not been as bad as others I've heard of. I'm relieved you're seeing a professional to help you sort through this time. Much love sent to you. 😊Sandra
