Hi starting to feel like a serial poster lol , I've booked my covid jab , phoned my GP surgery they didn't realise the 4 th was available , told me you only have 3 , I explained the situation eventually it seemed to sink in I think , I was given a date way into January , I phoned a day later just to ask if there was any cancellations can I be called in , did not explain about the 4 th jab , receptionist said yes we have plenty how about the 22 nd I said perfect , I double checked after and thats 88 days since my third jab 25/09/21 , that's after 12 weeks but 3 days short of the month , not sure whether to phone up and inform them or just turn up and see if I can still receive it , more likely to be turned down if I phone ,

Hi Stewie. Someone on here said that for us immunocompromised folk it’s only 56 days. I didn’t check it out as mine is due today which by coincidence is exactly 91 days
Thanks Jackie , Peggy , yes will just turn up with my NHS badges and quote the 56 day and then do a Leonardo DiCaprio ( catch me if you can ) Do you concur , Do you concur , I've always needed to chase up every vaccine I've had with my surgery , shame I've not got my old white lab coat lol
Today I had a phone call for a 4th vaccination tomorrow from the GP surgery (Wales). I thought it was 3 or 4 months, so they checked, and yes, it’s 8 weeks. Very impressed!Chrisx
Good morning Psmithuk, I am a bit confused as everything I have read indicates that a booster is available 3 months after the third jab. Can you advise me where the 56 days comes from please? I am in England and am a CLLer. Thanks David
Hi David - I can only think it is something from the Welsh Government (Senedd). I was sure the GP had made a mistake when the surgery rang me yesterday, but the nurse rang back and confirmed it, so I'm not complaining! We haven’t had any letters or information from the Senedd to indicate what we should have or do. I hope you all hear something soon. I wish you a very happy Christmas/holiday/break, and many thanks to everyone who takes part in the forum, with a special thanks to the admins. You have all been such a help during some pretty 'down' times.Chris xx
PS my WiFi is awful at the moment - it has taken me ages to get this far! Apologies if I don’t answer anyone.
I got my letter from Imperial NHS trust in UK on 16 Dec advising me to get my 4th jab.
I had my 3rd jab on 23 Sept so technically shouldn't get my 4th until end Dec but my local centre said just to come in so I had my 4th Pfizer jab that day. All good!
