Stomach ache and kidney question

Hi,

I was only recently diagnosed with cll,and every time my haematologist spoke to me (every six months) he would ask any sweats, stomach pain to which I said no ,this went on for two years before he gave a diagnosis. Now since we last spoke a have an intermittent stomach ache/ cramp like pain in the middle of my stomach.I am sure this is solely related to anxiety/stress as I am still trying to take it all in.

I just wondered if anyone else has suffered with this or still do ?

Coincidentally,I did have an endoscopy a couple of months back (unrelated)where they removed a polyp,so all clear in the stomach.

Lastly, erring away slightly,I also had a recent ultrasound for a suspected hernia which they confirmed, but they also found a cyst on one kidney and a benign tumour on the other kidney,I saw a consultant urologist who said both were small and we will just keep an eye on them as they are so small and discharged me,but that was before my cll diagnosis, should I ask my GP to make him aware of this?

Regards

David

Looks like you are in good hands with everything being properly monitored. You can't lose anything by letting all your doctors know about your other illnesses. I had some stomach pain issues before my diagnosis but having swallowed the tube they only found some inflammation where esophagus meets stomach.

Definitely go through all of this with your GP who should be helping advising and supervising you!

I will do Jig,I only asked the question about the kidneys as I think I read on here how important they were to keep 100% as they are extremely important when you have cll ?I don’t want to wait for the cyst or tumour to grow as my cll possibly progresses.
