Hi all, regarding the above subject, I have already posted my query on the Well being site, and have been advised to also post it on this site. Over the past two weeks or so I have been massaging accupressure points on my stomach and head, at a mild to moderate pressure. I usually consult my GP and Consultant before I try any new procedure on myself. However due to 'Covid' I did not want to bother them at the present time, as I am sure they are busy enough. I basically need to know if what I am doing is in any way detrimental to my CLL condition. Has anyone any good knowledge on this subject. Thanks Ron.

You haven't said which acupressure points you are massaging, and to what purpose.
It his highly unlikely that acupressure will have any effect on CLL.
I use it all the time, on all the sensitive pressure points. My wonderful chiropractor is also a Chinese Medicine expert, does Shiatsu and pressure point massage during treatments for my OA and CLL. I find massaging my feet, lower legs, neck and head especially help my sense of well being (and not being in pain). I can use it to relieve headaches along with some breathing exercises. Peppermint oil on a hankie can do wonders for most aches, bad moods, and insomnnia. It also repels spiders from my bed! Yes massage yourself by all means, it works.

Thnaks very helpful
I had a stomach muscle spasm yesterday ( I upped my electrolyte intake now as in the past it proved helpful and so far so good, no problems) and what I found is that when I held my breath the muscle slowly relaxed. It's a known thing with smooth muscles not controlled by willpower, that they relax when blood CO2 levels rise, but now I find it helps with the rest too. Will try when I have a leg cramp next time, if any 😀Accupressure stuff I have no idea about.
I find that some relaxation of facial muscles follow after some circulating pressure with a finger along the rim below the cheekbone. There a books and videos about pressure therapy. We all should take the time to learn more about it.
